Dave and Andy will look at having two more intakes of the Level 6 Diploma (2016 & 2017) before passing the baton on to one of our other tutors to continue to take on the Level 6 Diploma by Tree Life we are clarifying this for those that have enquired about having our directors of Tree Life as a tutor for the Level 6 before they step in to their retirement plan in about 8 years time. There is currently no plans to retire Tree Life however and our team of 9 is ever expanding!

qualification is a replacement for the RFS/ABC Level 6 Professional
Diploma in Arboriculture and it remains the premier qualification in
arboriculture. The qualification is still endorsed by the RFS and
awarded by ABC Awards. The Qualification is an arboricultural manager’s
qualification. Suitable for those wishing to work as tree officers or
Often candidates will have taken the NQF Level 3 Certificate in
Arboriculture or the new QCF level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture before
attempting this qualification, however depending on the experience of
the candidate this is not always necessary, we would suggest you giving
us a call so that we help you establish the right course for you.
Format of the Qualification:
The new framework gives candidates the opportunity to achieve different grades such as Certificates
and Diplomas in the different levels so for example at Level 6
candidates will be able to gain a Certificate and a Diploma at Level 6.
Tree Life will encourage and support candidates to reach not only a
Certificate at level 6 but also a Diploma at level 6, thus giving them
the equivalent to the previous qualification the Professional Diploma,
the premier qualification in Arboriculture.

assessment for the majority of the qualification will be by internal
assessment; therefore candidate's will be submitting work to Tree Life
which will build up not only a knowledge resource for future work but
also as a portfolio of evidence of completed work for your Certificate
and Diploma. The portfolio will also be used in external moderation to
ensure the standard of the training centre is maintained.

complete up to the Level 6 Diploma Stage. Where possible we will work to
