BS3998 Seminar

British Standard 3998:2010 'Tree Work – Recommendations' – A One Day Seminar

British Standards are recognised the world over as the benchmark for a wide variety of products, procedures and processes. Since 1966 there has been a British Standard for tree work operations, which has led the way in all aspects of tree maintenance.
Since 1966, there have been many advances in our knowledge about trees: more is now understood about how trees work and what their requirements are. BS3998 was most recently updated in 2010, to take account of the very latest advances in our knowledge, and appreciation of the value of trees.

Trees enrich our lives, but those in towns and cities will always need to be actively managed; The way we manage them can either shorten or prolong that period of enrichment. An appreciation of how to manage them in the best possible way is vital to those involved in their maintenance, and the objective of this seminar is to provide just such an appreciation.
